Baby Shower

So this past weekend we had my baby shower. It was amazing! I cannot believe how much work my aunts and especially my mom put in to making every detail so perfect. To me, it was perfection, with the exception of two things. One: it was too cold. Because of the fact that there were so many people, the shower was held mostly outside and it was really cold. Two: There were way too many people! Not that I'm complaining! Well, I am, sort of. We thought it would be fun just to do one big shower and have everybody over at once. A good idea in theory. But in reality, it made it really difficult for me to visit with anybody. I spent most of my day eating and opening gifts. I was really sad that I didn't get to spend more time visiting.

Back to how I spent most of my day:

Eating. Yum! The Taco Lady did an excellent job with the food.

Opening gifts. Fun! But exhausting! My family and friends did such an excellent job in making sure we have everything we need to welcome our little guy. We got almost everything we need. Now all we need is the baby!
Yes, Tony sent me flowers. There is a reason why he is my favorite! :)

Gina had Ethan and Ryan on Monday. I guess they were just holding out until their mommy could make it to my shower!

My parents got us our stroller! Yes, the infant seat is backwards, and no, I wasn't the one who put it in like that.

(We were really tired by this part of the night)

My aunts got me a diaper bag. Adorable, right?

I didn't have room for the rest of the pictures. But you can find them on facebook.

Vannessa's Baby Shower

On Saturday, we had our maternity pictures and then Vannessa's baby shower. It was a very long but fun day!

I think it's funny that I wore blue and she wore pink!

I still can't figure out why the guys were so happy to play this game!

Love these girls!

Baby Braysen, A Baby Shower, & Bunco!

Whew! Yesterday was a busy day!

We started off by getting a chance to see Baby Braysen in action. We had our second 3D ultrasound, which I was really nervous for. We got such great shots of his little face during the first 3D ultrasound. The technician told us that usually the pictures aren’t that clear at 26 weeks, so she said ours looked really good. I’ve seen 3D pictures of babies at 31 weeks, and they always look really distorted. They start to run out of room so their little faces are squished. I thought for sure that this would happen to us. Most of the pictures came out pretty clear, but the little stinker kept putting his arm or his feet in his face. We could only get a few shots of his face, because most of the time it was covered!! Here are a few of them:

Mouth open

And yes, that is his FOOT in his face!

After that, I headed straight to Gina’s baby shower. She’s not only having twins, but they are both boys! There were four of us pregos there, so we took a picture together. Gina is due in February, I’m due in March, and Natalie and her sister are due in April. The kicker is, we are all having BOYS!

I was glad I got the chance to visit with some friends that I don’t see as often as I would like.

After that, I headed straight to Bunco. It’s a good thing I have two days off. I need some time to recuperate!

29 Week Bellies!

Lunch was fun with the girls today, and little Emery is a DOLL!

Vannessa and I had the chance to get a shot of our bellies again at 29 weeks.

Christmas!

I haven't updated in a while. I planned to update right after Christmas, but after my mom ended up in the hospital, updating my blog was the last thing on my mind. Everything ended up fine, and my mom is home now and feeling much better, they were still a few scary days!

So Christmas was great, except for the fact that my mom wasn't feeling exactly herself. Braysen received so many gifts! I can already tell that the child will be spoiled, I can't believe how much he got for Christmas, and he's still not even here yet! I'm afraid to see what will happen next year!

Santa showed up at my parents' house this year, and here are just a few of the goodies that he left for Braysen:

Santa also left him this Boppy Lounger. After Marlo raved about how much Emery loved hers, I decided that my little guy probably would need one, too! :) Grammie has already been shopping off the registry!

And yes, I realize that these do not look like "baby" clothes. That's why we love them! I love the fact that they are a miniature version of Tony's clothes.

My Aunt Stephanie (who has 3 adorably dressed boys of her own) picked out some really cute "boy" clothes for him also! Here are some of them:

His first swimsuit! It is so tiny! Braysen will be ready for the river by next summer, even if mommy's body isn't! :)

Tony's parents even joined in on the fun:

Joey and Dena stopped by when we were in Havasu to leave these jammies that look like riding gear:

We get a glimpse of Braysen!

Today we went for our 3D/4D ultrasound. My aunts bought a package for me for my birthday where we get to go twice to have these ultrasounds done. Everybody wanted to come, so we had a room-full! It was really cool and we got some really great shots of baby Braysen in action.

Chunky boy already! He definitely hasn't been starving!

A little smile.

Little feet!

I know it's a lot of pictures of him, but they gave us 113, so there were SO MANY to choose from!

Our audience:
Aunt Jennifer, Ryan, & Aunt Stephanie

Aunt Stephanie & my mom

My grandma & Kylie

Tony's dad, checking out my belly.

The technician was cracking up at our crazy family.

Double digits!

So as of today, according to my ticker, I have 99 days left! Holy cow! Where has the time gone?! It seems like it was just last week that we were at the river for the 4th of July, and I wasn't drinking because I knew there was a chance that I could have been pregnant. It's a good thing I didn't drink, because as it turns out, I was three weeks pregnant. I knew the time was going to go fast, but I really had no idea!
